Lalique vases are the premier and one of the most admired art glass collectibles around the globe today. Millions of individuals and art museums collect and showcase their proud possessions. Lalique Vases motifs
Among his vases, he produced Bacchantes, Crystal, Tanzania, Angelots, Capucines, Ombelles, Venise, and Tortue vases to name a few. Lalique vases use lead-based Lalique glass which was either molded down or pressed. Initially he created unique Lalique vases in a lost wax casting technique (“Cire Perdue”). Later, he started designing and producing vases on industrial scale. He used motifs from American Indian Art, art nouveau, and art deco.
You can see dancing nymphs, beetles, dragonflies, fish, birds, flower, fauna, horses, lizards, and some aphrodisiac feminine models on these Lalique vases. He used a rainbow of exquisite colors to create his art objects. His creations can be found in red, amber, green, blue, black, grey, and plum colors to list a few.
The list of motifs and colors we have mentioned is indicative only and is not exhaustive list. The marvel of some colors, for example, black has specially allured high end collectors for years. Lalique vases carried his signature as R. Lalique, a tradition that was discontinued after his death in 1945.

You also need to know that making a Lalique vase collection is not an overnight expedition.
